David has worked with leading brands and retailers in more than 22 countries, and has particular expertise in retail banking. With a firm understanding of how customers think, feel, and behave, he works with brands to define and reinvigorate the customer journey and experience, develop brand and retail strategy, and create effective retail environments and communications.
He graduated from The Royal College of Art with a Masters Degree in 1990, and worked for a number of agencies including Conran Design and Retail Planning Associates (now Fitch) before co-founding brand experience and design agency M Worldwide in 2001.
He has won multiple impact-led awards by creating unique customer experiences and environments, and defining how brands come to life across all touchpoints, whether physical or virtual.
David's recent financial services clients include Arion Bank, Bank of Scotland, Halifax, Lloyds Bank, NatWest, NLB Slovenia, Royal Bank of Scotland, Skipton Building Society, Swinton Insurance and Yorkshire Building Society. He regularly speaks at retail and financial events around Europe, and contributes articles to publications such as Retail Banker International and The Financial Brand.
