Joao is the CEO and co-founder at James (former CrowdProcess), a data science company headquartered in New York with a European operation in London and Lisbon.
Joao has a Master in management with a major in Strategy from the Nova SBE and a PhD in statistics and econometrics from IMS.
He started his career at Fidelidade, the leading insurance company in Portugal, where he was responsible to lead projects related with marketing predictive models, next best offer, churn and client segmentation are some of the projects that he managed and delivered with a huge upside for the business.
